«Look at those dead bastards!»
Dialogue between the US soldiers on a helicopter
who have just killed eight harmless people
including two Reuters photographers.
In the following minutes they will also seriously injure two children,
along with other civilians who were only trying
to recover the bodies of the dead and the wounded.
From an Apache war helicopter, photographers and even children easily look like enemies.
How often does it happen? No one can say, except the military (and the physicians caring for the wounded).
And that’s why the military don’t like them.
